Phillies' Bryce Harper dons Phanatic cleats

Bryce Harper kicked off the Phillies’ Opening Day with another memorable pair of cleats.

The Philadelphia star continued his tradition of sporting unique cleats Thursday for the first game of the 2021 season against the Braves, rocking a custom pair with a miniature Philly Phanatic sewed into the left cleat. The other shoe had green fur, fake eyeballs and the word “Phanatic” written across the side.

The kicks were created by custom shoe articles Soles By Sir, according to TMZ Sports.

Harper, in his second season with the Phillies, has wowed the crowd with his footwear before. He wore Kobe Bryant tribute cleats in the past as well a patriotic pair of Fourth of July shoes back in 2016 with the Nationals.
